Aims and objectives of Purva Chhatra Samiti , Janta College Bakewar
Purva Chhatra Samiti, Janta College Bakewar will have the following objectives:-
1- To provide opportunities for community meetings and discussion of ideas and encouragement of social and cultural cooperation of Purva Chhatra Samiti , Janta College Bakewar.
2 - To disseminate information on how to mutually benefit Janta College Bakewar among the Purva Chhatra Samiti, members of Janta College Bakewar and the alumni of the college.
3 - Taking responsibility for the following activities:-
- In informative educational and cultural activities.
- In sports activities.
- In entertainment programs
- To improve the basic facilities currently available in the college.
- Doing social service work
4 - To organize academic conferences like workshops, seminars, discussions, lectures etc. by eminent personalities on various relevant and interesting contemporary topics in the interest of the current students of the college, committee members, college professors and the society.
5 - Organizing tree plantation programs, cleanliness campaigns etc. for a healthy environment.
6 - To take responsibility for career counseling, medical services and other similar programs for college students in the interest of students and society.
7 - To provide scholarships and financial assistance to needy and meritorious college students and to establish a permanent fund for financial assistance to college students.
8 - Publishing magazines and brochures showcasing the activities and achievements of the Purva Chhatra Samiti.
9 - To organize educational activities like general knowledge competition, lecture, essay writing debate and agricultural and science exhibition etc. for the students of Janta College Bakewar and other colleges affiliated to CSJM University Kanpur.
10 - To honor and reward meritorious students of the college in academic, sports and other activities.
11 - To organize campus placement programs for placement of students of Janta College Bakewar.
12 - To work for strengthen the relationships between Purva Chhatra Samiti , Janta College and industries.
13 - To help the citizens of the country affected by natural disasters like earthquake, flood etc.
14 - Celebrating national festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti etc. with great enthusiasm.
