Agriculture, Horticulture and Dairy Farm
The college has a scientifically managed extensive orchard, in which advanced varieties of mango, amla, guava, plum, litchi, lasauda etc. are planted.
On the agricultural farm, advanced seeds of various crops are produced using scientific agricultural techniques, which are made available to the regional farmers as per requirement. Students of Bachelor of Agriculture acquire practical knowledge of scientific production of various crops under experimental crop production on agricultural farms.
Various advanced breeds of cows and their hybrids are reared in the dairy farm of the college. For improving the breed of regional cows, the college dairy farm has bulls of advanced breed, the facility of which is available to the regional cattle farmers. Keeping in mind the saving of water, the orchard is being irrigated through drip irrigation method. Vermi compost pit has been constructed on the dairy farm in which vermi compost is being produced.
